About

I am a university professor in Japan. After school education in Nepal, I earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Aligarh Muslim University of India in 1993. With this degree, I returned to Nepal and worked as a civil engineer for about one year and as an engineering college junior faculty member for a little more than three years. Then, in November 1997, I came to Japan and entered Ehime University as a research student leading to the graduate program in geotechnical engineering from April 1998. Then, in March 2000, I received a master's degree in engineering and in March 2003, a Ph.D. in engineering specializing in landslide mechanisms. Starting April 2003, I have been working at Ehime University for nearly 20 years now. This is my personal homepage and I welcome you here. Below is my education and job history.
